Is reQall available in my country?
reQall's web and PC capabilities are available internationally. reQall's phone services are available in the US, Canada and the UK. Canadian users: please see note below.

How do I get started with reQall?
If you're in the US or Canada, simply call 1-888-9-REQALL (that’s 1-888-973-7255). In the UK, call 0800-692-8780 or 020-7147-5700. Throughout the world, you can also sign-up online. You don't need to install any software on your phone to use reQall.

Where can I use reQall?
You can use reQall from any phone (including mobile phones and iPhones), web browsers, AIM, Yahoo Instant Messenger, Google gadget, Windows Mobile devices, and any Windows XP system.

I have an account. How do I use reQall?
The easiest way to get started is to call 1-888-9-REQALL (1-888-973-7255) from any phone. Once reQall answers, just say “add” or “recall”. You can also add and recall on the web. Check out other ways to use reQall: email, Google, and others and PC and Windows Mobile.

How can reQall help me remember when I need to?
reQall has lots of different ways to help your memory whenever you need it, wherever you are. In Settings (selected after you login to reQall), you can chose to use email, text messages, and instant messages to aid your memory. reQall can send you a notice when you add something via the phone and can send you reminders before something is due. You can also get a daily summary email, kind of a daily to-do list. reQall can also regularly jog your memory using the same methods you've chosen for reminders. You can always see what you have in reQall via the web or hear what you have via your phone.

I called reQall and signed up. How do I login to my account on the web?
When you register via the phone, a text message is sent to you. The text message has your password. Use the phone number you called from and that password to login. If you don't have that text message or didn't receive it, contact customer support for help.

How do I change my password?
Go to reQall on the web and select Settings. Under "Web Access" you can change your password.

What if I forget my password?
If reQall knows your email address, go to reQall on the web. Enter either your user ID, phone number or email address. Then click "Email my password". If reQall doesn't know your email address, contact customer support for help.

Can I call reQall from any phone?
Absolutely! There are a couple of ways to do this. You can add up to 5 phone numbers to your reQall account. Go to reQall on the web and select Settings. Add your phone numbers under "Phone Access". Now reQall will recognize you from any of those numbers. By the way, a phone number registered by one user can't be used by another. So if you've got a spouse or co-worker who might want to use that number, register it first!

If you want to call from other numbers (say a pay phone in an airport or the phone at your mom's house), you can add a pin to your reQall account. The pin allows you to call from any number, but keeps other people (like your mom or spouse) from getting into your reQall. You can create a pin in the "Phone Access" section.

I'm in Canada, and reQall doesn't recognize me when I call. What can I do?
reQall uses caller id to recognize you. Unfortunately, some wireless carriers in Canada do not provide valid caller ids. If you experience problems with reQall recognizing your phone number, you will need to use a pin. Go to reQall on the web and select Settings. Set your pin under "Phone Access". When you call reQall, you'll be asked to enter your pin and registered phone number. If you have questions, customer support would be happy to help you.

How can I chat with reQall via IM?
Make sure reQall knows your IM address by entering it in IM Access under Settings. Then add "reqall" to your IM buddy list. Start a conversation with reQall by saying “help”. reQall will tell you what things it understands.

Can I get my posts into other applications?
Sure! Using two standard feeds, RSS and iCal, you can get your posts into many other applications, including many online calendars. Go to Settings and subscribe to one or both.

What online calendars can I use with reQall?
reQall can automatically move your items to any calendar that supports the iCal standard. Some of the ones that do include Google, Apple's iCal, Outlook 2007, and Mozilla's Sunbird.

How do I set up reQall with these calendars?
Each calendar has it's own setup instructions. Contact our support team to get help with the details. In general, the calendar needs an address to link to your reQall account. You get your personalized address by clicking on "Subscribe to iCal feed" in Settings. Then copy that address into the calendar's remote calendar settings.

How are my audio recordings converted to text?
We use a combination of automated speech recognition technology and human transcription.

How is the privacy of my recordings ensured?
Our transcriptionists do not have access to users' identity, so all recordings are anonymous. In addition, we have strict privacy guidelines that each of our employees must follow. While the combination of automated speech recognition technology and human transcription provides more accurate results for you, you can also choose to have your recordings transcribed just by the computer. Just contact customer support and let us know so we can set up your account the way you want it.
